1) My favorite project this year, was the bowl project. I liked how we got to make two bowls and really be creative. I also like how you could either take your time on one and make it perfect. Or you could rush the other and make it sloppy. You could also do what I did and create two pretty good bowls. I was happy with how both of my bowls turned out. They are both very clean and unique.
2) The most valuable piece of information I learned, is that you have to wedge really well. If I didn't know that, then lots of my pieces would blow up and I would have to start all over. Each time I made another project, I made sure I wedged for a long time and kept it moist. I also checked for air bubbles periodically throughout my pieces.
3) In this class, I will remember to take chances and be creative. I will also remember to add texture and not always go the boring, smooth route. I normally try to be clean and elegant by adding a smooth texture and color scheme. But, this year I tried to be creative and think outside of the box.
